I've been harping on about my second job is it still in existence for me or not? I have scheduled for the month of September, enough shifts to pay for my car note and then some. It looks like I'm still gainfully employed! That is actually great news for me, not great news for my weekends.
All of a sudden, my weekends have booked up with work, home improvement projects, and friends visiting.
The good thing is I've met one my two goals for the month,-gaining enough income for the car note. Now to work on the second one, getting those home improvement projects done.

The same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago. I used the excuse of having freelance work to do so that I could avoid going out with someone and her kids. (Her kids drive me nuts.) Instead, I went out with some other friends.
Well, later that week, I got hammered with freelance. Two weeknights and then all day that next Saturday. Talk about being careful what you wish for. LOL
I was grateful for the freelance work, of course, but boy oh boy was I a busy lady.
