The remnants of the Hurrican blew through New England on Saturday. My area got 5.5 inches of rain on Saturday afternoon alone. This also ment the event I was supposed to work was cancelled. I hate that. Cancelled work means reduced or no pay. Since we were already at the barn and getting set to go, I did get some compensation, not alot, but some. The decision was made to "abandon ship" because of the storm. We ended up unpacking the trailer and a couple of us got pizza for dinner (our boss bought it for us, which was nice of him to do so.)
I'll have to find a way to make up the "budget shortfall" this month.
